API
What is an API?
API stands for applications program interface. An API is a special interface that allows two applications to communicate with each other. APIs allow two systems to transfer important data without the need for human intervention.
Why are APIs important?
APIs allow for the building of automated and complex systems. In advertising, APIs allow publisher to automatically pull relevant ads for their users. An API can also enable publishers and advertisers to gather important campaign data from different sources. This allows publishers and advertisers to centralize data that is otherwise spread out.
How does AdGate Media use APIs?
AdGate Media allows developers to monetize their app with rewarded ads. If a developer prefers to use their own technology for displaying our ads, we enable them to use our API to pull those ads. We also provide an API for reporting purposes for both publishers and advertisers.
