The app churn rate is the percentage of users who stop using an app over a certain period of time. This metric is often calculated a month, a week, and the next day after a user installs an app. This metric allows developers to pinpoint exactly at what stage their users tend to become disengage. Using the app churn rate, developers are able to understand what may cause an engagement drop off, and work to fix the issue.
