Cost Per View (CPV)
What is Cost Per View (CPV)?
Cost per view is an advertising model in which the advertiser pays for every video play of their advertisement. Depending on the setup, a view can count as one of the following:
- A user starts watching a video
- A user watches to a certain point in a video (ex: 75%)
- A users completes watching the entire video
CPV campaigns are often used when the primary goal is to have an audience view a video about your brand or product. However, like most online advertising models, the campaign can be optimize to meet another goal.
