What is Cost Per Lead? (CPM)

Cost Per Lead (CPL) is a billing model where a paid conversion is generated by the number of authorized leads created. While a lead is not a sale(CPS), the user is one step closer to the end goal of a converted sale. Examples of CPL campaigns are: Building a newsletter list, sweepstakes sign up, or a dating service. All examples provide the user with registration forms including questions regarding their contact details. A successful sign-up means a successful sales lead!
